Hi! My name is Fabian Huber. I am a Game & Graphics Programmer.
I specialize in Computer Graphics and low-level systems for video games. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Games Programming and an Advanced Technician Diploma in Computer Science with a specialization in Application Development.
Projects
Bachelor Thesis - Voxel Path Tracing
Final project of my studies at SAE Institute Geneva. Implemented Voxel Path Tracing in a Vulkan compute shader using the Jai programming language. The thesis document was made in Typst.
Need More Bullets
Game made during the LvlUp Game Jam 2024 in 48 hours with a team of 3 programmers where it won the public's choice award.
OpenGL - Deferred PBR Renderer
A deferred PBR renderer made in C++ with OpenGL. Implements Image-Based Lighting, glTF format loading, GPU-compressed textures, Normal Maps, Cascaded Shadow Maps, Bloom and SSAO.
Optimizations: Ray Tracing in One Weekend
Project where I implemented the Ray Tracing in One Weekend book in Rust and then optimized it. Making it run from 6 minutes to 5 seconds.
2D C++ Physics Engine
This is a 2D physics engine made in C++ with no libraries. It has a demo project to showcase it made with SFML and a web demo made with Raylib. The project was showcased in 3 code reviews videos by The Cherno that accumulated a total of 318'000 views.
Networking - Rollback Atomic Ball
Multiple projects made during the networking module at SAE Institute. As the final project, I added rollback netcode for the game Atomic Ball.
